Our Story

Holland Power Services was established by Earl Holland in 1996.

Earl is an Electrical Mechanic, Industrial Electrician and Licensed Contractor with more than 30 years experience. Earl’s vision enabled him to recognize the opportunity created by the increasing incidence and severity of weather events. Over a 10 year span, he transformed his original company, E. Holland Contracting Inc, into a group of storm response companies. These companies (Holland New England, Holland Quebec Inc., Holland Power Services Ontario Inc. and E. Holland Contracting Inc.) now operate under the banner of Holland Power Services.

Holland Power Services maintains a fleet of more than 250 line trucks and support vehicles operated by qualified professionals. Our experienced personnel and established processes and systems ensure that we quickly and efficiently provide assistance to utility customers in times of need.

From our four primary locations within 100 miles of the Canada-United States border in Ontario, Quebec and New Brunswick, and a fifth location in Ellsworth, Maine, we dispatch restoration crews throughout the eastern US all the way to Florida as well as the Bahamas.
