A Storm Response Powerhouse

Established in 1996 by Earl Holland, Holland Power Services has grown from a single company into a powerhouse of storm response teams. Earl, an Electrical Mechanic, Industrial Electrician and Licensed Contractor with over 30 years of experience, foresaw the increasing need for reliable power restoration due to more frequent and severe weather events. Over a decade, he transformed E. Holland Contracting Inc. into a robust group of companies, now known collectively as Holland Power Services.
Our fleet of over 250 line trucks and support vehicles, operated by highly qualified professionals, stands ready to serve utility customers quickly and efficiently in times of need.

From our strategically located bases within 100 miles of the Canada-United States border in Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick and Ellsworth, Maine, we dispatch restoration crews across the eastern U.S., all the way to Florida and the Bahamas. Our team’s extensive experience and well-honed processes ensure we meet every challenge head-on, restoring power with speed and precision.

Holland Power Services joined the Alectra family of companies in 2021. With Alectra’s acquisition of Gagnon Line Construction in 2024, together we are the largest power restoration response team in Eastern Canada.
